Fitness for Christmas

Since my youngest daughter was born 3 1/2 years ago, I've been working on my fitness.  It all started with a late-night feeding when she was only a few weeks old.  I turned on the tv and was instantly captivated by a P90X infomercial.  I loved it! I recorded it to show to my husband.  I watched it for weeks before my husband finally agreed to do it with me.  We decided to start off with Tony Horton's Power 90 and work our way up to P90X. (You can read my review here).  Since that fateful day, I have never looked back!

Last week, after completing several other Beachbody programs, I decided to try Les Mills PUMP.  Enlisting the help of my accountability partner, I set a goal to lose 15 pounds by Christmas.  (Yes, I know I will be fighting through 3 major food holidays!!! What am I thinking?) I am notorious for setting goals with my mouth, and then forgetting about them 10 minutes later.  It's definitely not one of my favorite traits.  To that end, I've decided to make my goals public and document my progress.  I must be nuts!

So here's what I've done so far: I've set up my workout schedule on Team Beachbody, set up my account on My Fitness Pal and enlisted the help of my friends in challenge groups on Facebook.  I am on day 7 of PUMP.  I'd love to have some extra accountability and even some other people working on goals along with me!  I'll be updating my progress every week, so be sure to follow me.

To join me in my fitness challenge:
1.  Set up a free account on Team Beachbody by clicking "Join"
2.  Find me on My Fitness Pal and friend request me! (username: notinvain)
3.  Find me on Facebook or comment below and we'll keep in touch.

If you do any of this stuff, please be sure to tell me so I know!  Let's get fit, not fat, by Christmas!
